Educational Qualifications:
Candidates must fulfill certain requirements in order to be considered for the Senior Residents (Non-Academic) position. First and foremost, they must meet the requirements for medical qualification listed in the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956’s first, second, or third schedules, or in Part II of those schedules. The requirements outlined in Section 13(3) of the Act must also be met by those whose credentials are stated in Part II of the third schedule. In the next step, it is required to register with the Central/State Medical Council.
Moreover, candidates must possess a postgraduate degree in the relevant discipline, such as an MD, MS, DNB, MDS, or DM, MCH, or an equivalent. A Ph.D. from an accredited university and an MSc. in the relevant field are prerequisites for non-medical applicants. It is mandatory for candidates to the Department of Pathology to hold an MD in Pathology or an MD in Lab Medicine.
Age Criteria:
- The candidate must be younger than 45 years old.
